Support menu Snapshots

This page is for people who downloaded the EvidentlySo Android app from our website.

EvidentlySo keeps one copy of each conversation you save: your snapshots. Tap Update to add new messages to it. Nothing you already saved is ever removed.

Save a conversation

1. On Home, tap the button that saves a conversation’s messages.

2. Choose the conversation you want to save.

3. Tap the button to save.

Add new messages with Update

Your snapshots hold everything up to the moment you saved them. To add the messages that came in since, tap Update next to the conversation. Each saved conversation shows Saved through with the date and time of its last save.

What’s kept

• Update only adds. Nothing already saved is removed, changed or marked.
• A message you delete on your phone after you saved it stays in your snapshots.
• A message deleted before you saved it can’t be included. EvidentlySo can only save what’s on your phone.

Your snapshots are in your cloud storage, next to your PDFs (in Dropbox: Apps › EvidentlySo). Don’t delete or move anything there.

Reminder to update

EvidentlySo can remind you to update your snapshots. You can change how often in EvidentlySo’s Settings.

Your saved conversations

1. On Home, open the list of your saved conversations.

2. Each conversation has one row, with Saved through and the date and time of its last save. To add new messages first, tap Update.

3. To make a PDF, tap Generate PDF transcript on Home and choose the conversation. Each PDF holds one conversation. Generate a PDF
