Generate a PDF

This page is for people who downloaded the EvidentlySo Android app from our website.

On Home, tap Generate PDF transcript.
Choose the conversation you need. Tap Next. Each PDF holds one conversation. For another conversation, generate another PDF.
Check the settings, including the dates your PDF covers. Tap Generate PDF. PDF settings
Choose a plan and pay, or, activate your license if you already have one.
Tap Connect Dropbox and sign in. This is where your PDFs are saved.
If EvidentlySo asks to be your default texting app for now, tap Continue and follow the steps on screen. Encrypted chats
When your PDF is ready, tap Share PDF or Open PDF. Share a PDF

PDF settings

On the Ready to generate screen, tap a row to adjust the PDF settings:

Dates: the dates your PDF covers, as one unbroken range: the whole conversation, or a start and an end. It can start at a date or at a message you choose, and end at a date, at a message you choose, or at the latest message.
Time zone: the time zone on the message timestamps.
Show names: contact names and photos, or numbers only.

A PDF never skips dates inside its range. Need two separate periods? Generate a PDF for each.
